Leete, Kosto & Wizner Partners Will Speak on Business Immigration Law At Sterling Educational Seminar

Two partners of Leete, Kosto & Wizner, LLP, Eric Fleischmann and Andrew Wizner, will be leading the panel of speakers at a seminar focusing on immigration and employment law that will be offered by Sterling Education Services on April 26, 2005.

The full-day seminar, entitled "Immigration and Employment Law: How to Legally Hire, Retain, and Terminate Both Foreign and Domestic Workers," will be held in Hartford, Connecticut. Attorneys Fleischmann and Wizner will provide an overview of Immigration laws and procedures, discussing basic immigration concepts and terms, temporary visas, permanent visas, and citizenship. They will also cover the hiring and retention of foreign workers, employer compliance with laws relating to the employing foreign nationals, verifying work eligibility under the Immigration Reform and Control Act, and related Social Security issues. A variety of related issues involving employment law will be discussed by two attorneys with Day, Berry & Howard LLP, Robert McNamee and Stacy Smith Walsh. The partners of Leete, Kosto & Wizner will also address several hot topics: New and proposed legislation on H-1B and L-1 visas, the PERM Regulation for Labor Certification, and the US VISIT entry and exit process for visitors.
